Termatalia Brazil brings together health tourism representatives from 34 countries


Foz do Iguaçu, 10/09 / 2018.- Termatalia, International Fair of Thermal Tourism, Health and Welfare, faces its 18th edition (the fourth in Latin America) gathering in Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil) representatives of health and wellness tourism from 34 countries which reinforces it one more year as the great world benchmark in the sector. With massive presence of companies and professionals from Latin America and Europe and also incorporating Asia-Pacific, Termatalia Brasil 2018 will bring together 200 exhibitors, 25 international tour operators and 60 experts who will participate in the XIII International Meeting on Water and Health. Under the motto "The energy of the waters", the fair will be held at the Master Convention Center of the Hotel Recanto Cataratas de Foz do Iguaçu between 12 and 14 September.

Termatalia Brasil was presented at the fairground by the secretary of tourism of the municipal prefeitura of Foz do Iguaçu, Gilmar Piolla; by the representative of Itaipu Binacional, Tencio Albuquerque, and by the general director of Termatalia, Alejandro Rubín. The different professional actions will turn the fair once again into the international business center of the sector that will include the different professional meetings between tour operators, importers of equipment goods, suppliers and exhibitors. XIII INTERNATIONAL mEETING ON WATER AND HEALTH
Termatalia Brasil 2018 will strengthen one more edition its role as an international professional training center in health tourism. The training and scientific program of the Fair, included in the 13th International Meeting on Water and Health, will bring together more than 60 experts from 18 countries and will return and present the most innovative projects in the development of health and wellness tourism worldwide. .

The main novelty of this edition will be the celebration of the 1st Latin American Meeting of Thermalism, scheduled for the morning of Friday, September 14 and which will address issues such as Social Thermalism in Public Health Systems or Thermal Therapies in Latin America or the development of a complementary offer to health and wellness tourism, among others. This meeting will have the collaboration of the Federal University of Latin American Integration, UNILA, based in Foz do Iguaçu.


In addition to the Latin American Meeting of Thermalism, the scientific program of this edition will host four more sessions that will address health tourism from different perspectives (Session on Tourism, Innovation and Sustainability, Scientific Session on Medical Hydrology, Session on Management and Integration of Wellness and Health natural resources and Encounter of Cities and Thermal Villas).
SPECIALIZED COURSES

This edition of Termatalia reinforces its formative character by programming a cycle of courses that will consolidate the role of this appointment as a thermal training center worldwide. It is a highly specialized training for professionals in the sector. FOZ DO IGUAÇU
The celebration of Termatalia Brasil will be possible thanks to the strong support of the Brazilian institutions with the leadership of the Iguazú Fund for Tourism Development and Promotion and the Municipal Prefoitura of Foz do Iguaçu and with the support of the main public and private entities linked to tourism in this region and also in the country (Itaipu Binacional, the Government of the State of Paraná and the Ministry of Tourism of Brazil) to position it internationally, also as a thermal destination.
